Cita Cinta Change-lebration

The two blogger judges!
"Campaign kita meningkatkan self esteem. Maka odyshop ikutan krn acara ini bagus utk meningkatkan self esteem"

The event starts off with a wonderful fashion show by Argyle and Oxford. Love how quirky the collection is but still being highly sophisticated too.

The fabulous 11 finalists was transformed and glam-ed up by the Bodyshop team... Look at the smiles on their faces, it's true... nothing feels better than feeling beautiful both on the inside and outside...

Congrats to all the winners, and heads up to Cita Cinta and Bodyshop for hosting such an amazing event with a warm-hearted meaning behind it. This event is fully about changing people's life by boosting their self-esteem, it's true that most females are not confident in their own skin, and sometimes it is the only thing that stops them from venturing the world and achieve their goals. Sure, not everything is about being beautiful, but being beautiful doesn't only mean perfection, it is about feeling confident being YOU. So let's feel cozy in our own skin, trust me... you'll be so much happier!

HEALTHY WITH CATH; Quinoa Pattie

Okay it's no surprise that healthy eating is super important especially with all the junk food available everywhere, we should educate ourselves to make eat what's good for the body. I am not a professional nutritionist or whatsoever.. but i've been obsessed with instagram stalking my favorite fitspo insta accounts as well as browsing healthy recipes online. Here's my fav;  this and this!

And here's my attempt on making a Quinoa Pattie! It's not very chef-like, nor fancy. And i'm also scared of knifes, so bare with the immature level of cooking right here.........

Ingredients;

  • 2 1/2 cups/12 oz/340 g cooked quinoa, at room temperature
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
  • 1/3 cup/.5 oz /15 g finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 yellow or white onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup/.5 oz/15 g freshly grated Parmesan or Gruyère cheese (OPTIONAL)
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup/3.5 oz /100 g whole grain bread crumbs, plus more if needed
  • Water, if needed
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

  • Combine the quinoa, eggs, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in the chives, onion, cheese, and garlic. Add the bread crumbs, stir, and let sit for a few minutes so the crumbs can absorb some of the moisture. At this point, you should have a mixture you can easily form into twelve 1-inch/2.5cm thick patties. I err on the very moist side because it makes for a not-overly-dry patty, but you can add more bread crumbs, a bit at a time, to firm up the mixture, if need be. Conversely, a bit more beaten egg or water can be used to moisten the mixture.

    RECIPE FROM; HERE

Also please share me some of your favorite healthy recipe! I've been a vegetarian for almost 4 years, and just started eating fish a few months ago. But trying to kick gluten out of my meal..... though hard to find gluten free ingredients here in Indonesia!

    All Tied Up

When in doubt, wear black and white! I haven't worn this Danjyo Hiyoji outerwear for quiet a long time so I decided to put it back on my essentials list as it is super comfortable and it has a twisted complicated aesthetic to it (but really, it's surprisingly minimalist too) Also note that it can be tied and swirled into various different ways, let's say it is versatile.

Mary Katrantzou F/W 13 collection preview:

Well, I expected nothing but fabulous prints from Mary Katrantzou, and yes indeed, fabulous prints it surely was! I love how her designs are picture perfect but also impeccably made. With the busy prints going onto every outfit, she smartly placed the right seams and the right amount of detail so the outfit is balanced perfectly. Not too much, and definitely not too little.

Indeed it was a day filled with fashionistas. I like the concept of the store, it has a balance of luxury and also whimsical ambience to it. The very second you enter the store, you can feel your inner diva whispering "oooh-laaa-laaaa". Visit the store located at Plaza Indonesia, also follow them on twitter here!

What I wore; (ZARA dress, H&M jacket, ZARA heels, ABOCS studded oversized clutch)

Note; All the pictures were taken using an iPhone 5

    Basics

My basic wardrobe essentials includes; oversized shirt, slouchy plain t-shirts, high waisted denim jeans, and black boots. Whenever I shop, I can never resist the temptation to get those listed items. My favorite jeans has to be the one from TopShop because they have the right amount of high-waist-ness, and also super comfortable and best when left un-washed! My favorite t-shirts has to be the one from Alexander Wang (for high end category) and Zara (for a budget version). Haven't really found the perfect black boots, but I am definitely eyeing on this baby.....................

Looking forward to go on a vacay somewhere with a legit ACNE store so I can try them on first-hand, boots are just one of those things that you need to try and walk around the store twice to see wether it is worth buying or not.
